How Is Ureaplasma Infection Transmitted?

I am a female. I had been tested for urea plasma 1 month ago And the test was negative. Then 2 weeks ago I was tested for urea plasm and it was positive. I am having unprotected sex with one person. Would I have received the urea plasma from him. Or does urea plasma bacteria naturally occur in my cervix.
