How Long After Abortion Will Periods Be Regularized?

I had my last periods on the 25th of oct 10 after which i got pregnant. i had an abortion on 2nd dec 10. Its been 3 months now and i still havnt got my regular periods. i visited the gynac and he has advised me to take estogen and progeston for 5 days which i did but i still havnt got them plz advise
