How long do the symptons last in a 3 month shot, and how strong is that shot?

My husband had the 3 month shot on November 22 and the symptoms are worsening. He has weakness, shakiness, muscle weakness ( especially in his neck) He also suffers from Ocular myasthenia and we are afraid it has gone into the neck. This shot will be effective for 6 more weeks, how much worse can it get. Just now, he couldn't make it to the bathroom to urinate in time. He is a very active healthy 80 yr old until he had this shot....please help.
