How Long Does Methylprednisolone Take To Cure Pain In Leg?

I am taking methylprednisolone 4 mg, tablets 1 unit dose pack for nerve pain following a compression fracture which is near healed. I am on Day 3 of treatment and wonder when the full results of treatment can be expected since I still have severe leg pain.
