How Long Does Prednisone For Inflammation Take To Show Effect?

My doctor put me on 20mg. of Prednisone twice a day for an badly inflamed finger(I have Psoriatic arthritis) for one week. I started to shake and tremble and now it has been two days since I stopped the regime. How long before I start to feel normal again? I still continue to tremble.
