How Long Does An Antibiotic And Nasal Spray Take To Unblock Ears?

I have been taking an antibiotic and a prescription nasal spray for a blocked ear. it has been 2 weeks now and i am very anxious that it is not getting better yet. My dr assures me that it could take 2 weeks or more and i am very concerned. My dr says referring me to a specialist is not necessary. HELP how much longer will this go on?
