How Long Does Blood And Pus Discharge Remain After A Hemorrhoidectomy ?

I had a hemorrhoidectomy on the 31st of Jan. I feel better but have discharge of blood (less than a 1/2 cup) and puss-like discharge. How long is this expected and I work in law enforcement and cant take baths until I get home. I am eating about 25-30g of fiber a day along with approx a gallon of water daily. I also have only been taking 1 pain pill a day (2 if it hurts during the day). I also take 1 duc-o-lax (sp?) to make sure I don t become constipated. I had diarrhea on Monday night and it really burned/hurt. Just trying to find out how long to expect this discharge...
