How Long Does Broken Blood Vessel Take To Heal?

I am just wondering .. I broke blood vessel during a couple night of bad coughing from post nasal drip and was sick possibly with flu. I am on z-Pak and cough medicine. I visited my doc yesterday and didn t ask how long it takes to heal . I still had loose stuff come up still today
