How Long Does It Take Ro Recover From Severe Altitude

How long does it take ro recover from severe altitude sickness. Onset occurred on day 3 at elevavation 11000 feet and I sought medical help on day 5, received medication and oxygen for two days and travelled to sea level two days later. I am 59 and active in multiple sports.
