How Long Does It Take To Regrow Hair?

I got my hair dyed black a couple months ago.. Since then it has been falling out at the root. My hair is really thinning... If it fell out because of a bad reaction to the dye. Will it grow back? and if it does how long will it take? Really freaking out!
