How Long Does Milk Production Occur After Stopping Breastfeeding?

My son is 17 months old and I stopped breastfeeding him when he was about 4 months old.. Although, to this day I still have milk in my breasts... It doesnt leak out and wet my shirts or anything like that, but if I was to squeeze my breast then droplets would come out sometimes even a squirt will fly out.. I figured this would have stopped by now...??
