How Long Does Nerve Pain Take To Subside?

My daughter hadn t taking her synthroid med from Feb last year to beginning of Nov of last year. She was hospitalized from Nov 11,2014 to Dec 22 . She has nerve pain and she can t walk let aone stand or use her hands. She s only 42. Now that she s taking her medicine, how long will it take for her to walk and use her hands. An OT & a PT come 3 days a week.
