How Long Does Stitches On Lips To Dissolve?

I had surgery on my lip 4 days ago to remove a blue mass and have dissolvable stitches most of which are external to the lip. They are aggravating and the lip is very dry. My next appointment is in 10 days. How long before these stitches fall out and should i be moisturizing the area?
