How Long Does Subcutaneous Vicryl Suture Take To Dissolve?

I had a squamous cell removed from my cheek on June 23rd.. Unfortunately I have a 1" x 5" red, lumpy, bumpy swatch down my cheek to under my chin. Vicryl suture was used subcutaneously. How long will it take for them to dissolve and to flatten? I'm concerned about the length of time it might take until this scar is "acceptable" for me to go out in public and return to my job?
