How Long Does Vision Take To Normalize After An Eye Surgery?

I had eye surgery on my left eye I had a broken blood vessel burst in the middle of my eye an could not see if I looked at someones face but I can see every thing around them is been a week how long until I can see or if I can see again th e doctor said some had desapated but I cannot see all the way
