How Long Should I Take Hiprex? It Was Prescribed To

How long should I take Hiprex? It was prescribed to me by a Urologist at Cleveland Clinic and I've been on it BID with 500mg of Vit C for over 2 years. I ran out and have been off of it for about two weeks and now I have a raging UTI that's not responding to Bactrim. This is why I was on Hiprex to begin with, constant UTI's with no relief from ANY antibiotic. Thank you.
