How Long Will It Take To Recover From Sinus Surgery?

My name is Jaime, I had sinus surgery before christmas. I was told I would start feeling better in about two weeks. Well I m still sick. A month after surgery I went back in to have my nose cleaned out and the doctor broke a piece of bone he said that he had missed and pulled it out with me just laying there crying. The next day when I rinsed my nose out another small piece of bone came out. My question is what bone would he have broken and is that normal? My regular physician said he has never heard of a doctor breaking that bone and that he can see the torn tissue around it but can not see the bone. He said he hopes the tissue will grow around it and heal. Can you give me your opinion please? Thank You
