How Long Will Soreness In Esophagus Take To Heal?

I took an antibiotic the ones with the powder inside, and I didn't take enough water so that the pill got stuck in my esophagus and it has become very hard to swallow because of the pain in my chest which I'm guessing is from the pill dissolving in my esophagus and coughing some irritation. My question to you is how long will this take to heal? Does the name of the antibiotic is Doxycycine hyclate 100mg
