How Often Would A Scabies Eruption Occur If You Did

How often would a scabies eruption occur if you did have them? If a new bump appeared every few hours, in several clusters, in various parts of the body, over a period of 2 days? Given treatment for scabies, but doctor even said she wasn't convinced; I've got 5 new itchy bumps since this morning. Wouldn't this mean I was covered in parasites?
