How Safe Is Derma Roller To Treat Acne Scars On Face?

HI I have been reading about the miracles that derma roller and coconut oil can do for your skin,I am 31 and I suffer from acne scars or hole in my face but only in areas where I lack facial hair,can these scars be connected due to no hair on these particular areas?And will a combination of the derma roller and coconut oil be a solution?Thanks
