How Safe Is Eliquis For A-fib? I Just Started Taking

How safe is eliquis for a-fib? I just started taking it and I am reading a lot of negative reactions. Could it cause liver or kidney damage ? Is Coumadin safer? I am healthy 74 female but have had svts and pvcs for years . Now I hade a monitor on for 3 weeks and I had one a-fib that lasted less then a minute. This is my second day taken eliquis and the more I read I think I should not be taking this!
