How Safe Is Taking Amoxicillin For Sinus Infection?

I just started amoxicillin 500 mg. I take two tablets a day. I have a sinus infection. I have had this medicine before but not this strengh. It is mKing me very drowsy and I have had two naps today for 10 minutes each time. I am on holiday for another six days. Should I continue with this medicine or just take one a day at nighttime till I get home? We are flying home.Thanks
