How Safe Is Taking Crestor For Low Cholesterol?

I am taking Crestor 10 mg to lower cholesterol and whilst it is successful in doing this, I am wondering if I could be suffering side effects of significant joint pain in ankles, feet and stiffness in knees. Have taken Crestor for about seven months now. Also have bursitis in one hip, feel like I cn hardly walk. Usually I am active and flexible. Have done years of yoga.
