How Safe Is Taking Ritalin For Attention Disorder?

Hey I was prescribed ritalin when I was younger. I m taking college classes and having a lot of trouble completIng the assignments and paying attention in class. I ve always been fidgety and impatience. When I m trying to tell someone anything I jump from topic to topic. I think I need to be put back on the meds again what is your opinion.
