How Safe Is Taking Protonix For Constant Nasal Drip?

Hi, I had septoplasty and turbinate reduction surgery 6 weeks ago. The past 3 wks I have constant post nasal drip that is driving me insane. I did not have this prior to surgery. I informed my ENT of this and he said it s GERD, I disagrees but am taking. Protonix for the past 10 dayss with no relief. What went wrong with this surgery and now what to I do to get relief?
