How Safe Is Taking Sea Kelp And Iodine Supplements While On Contraceptive Pills?

Was wondering whether taking sea kelp and iodine supplements will affect my contraceptive pill? I am taking Yasmin 3 months at a time to help with the symptoms of endometriosis and also for contraceptive purposes. I was intending to take 2 sea kelp and iodine tablets per day to help aid weight loss. Will this have any effect on the way my contraceptive pill works? thanks
