How Serious Is Clostridlum Difficile Colitis? My Michigan Uncle Is

How serious is clostridlum difficile colitis? My Michigan uncle is in Florida, had trouble finding doctor and had to wait 1 week to see a doctor, on this next Monday. How serious is this problem? Should he be in the hospital? He has been going to Urgent Care because he couldn't get in to see a doctor. He has pain in his stomach and has diarrhea. What should he do?? He feels terrible. He was in the hospital for about a week and has been home for a week and a half.
