How Should A Painful Lump Near My Vaginal Area Be Treated?

I have a lump or boil it appeared sometime last night its near the vagnial area it stings really bad but im afraid to go to the doctors I don t want it lanced is there any other options and what can i don for the pain how long can they last and can you maybe squeeze pop it or will that cause more harm then anything?
