How Should Fever, Chills And A Dry Red Crusty Spot With Pus Be Treated While On Antibiotics For An Ingrown Toenail?

i have an ingrown toenail, my doctor gave m antibiotics and sent me to a podiatrist. she scheduled me for minor in office surgery to remove in 2 weeks. over the weekend i started running a low grade fever, chills, it is redish purple dry and crusty with puss coming out plus i feel like im going to throw up. should i go to urgent care or wait and go to my doctor on thursday? i am diabetic
