How Should Nasal Septum Deviation With Sinus Infection Be Treated?

Hi Doctor, I have been suffering from Sinus infection since one month, during which i have taken 2 courses of antibiotics, but no complete cure yet. I have a very deviated nasal septum, that the consulting doctor says that the cure is not complete because of the nasal deviation and advised to take a medicine that reduces the mucous. I am wondering, if the infection prolong for longer may cause other health problems. For instant i do not have the sensations to smell or taste. Please help me in this situation, and advise what do i do?
