How Soon After Treatment For Gonorrhea Should A Retest Be Done?

how soon after treatment for gonorrhea should i be tested again? I am on a course of antibiotics currently and they finish tomorrow morning. Id like to know as soon as possible whether or not they were successful I saw a doctor 12 days ago and as a precuation he gave me the 1g dose treatment for chymidia and I gave a urine sample. The tegst came back negative for chlymida but the test for gonnorhea was initially inconclusive - likely positive so they held onto it for 6 days at which point they told me it was positive. I went back in and they treated me once again 1g orally for chlymida just in case and gave me ciproflaxin 500 (2 x tabs a day). I have two tablets remaining, tonight and tomorrow morning. I want to know when I can test again to see if successful. I requested the oral anitbiotics to try because I hate needles. I have been masturbating throughout. ironically the gonorhea symptoms cleared up within three days of the first chlymidia treatment even though that came back negative. I have a partner and we havent been active for 2 weeks prior to the infection being discovered (I was with someone about 3 days prior to my discovery of symptoms and assume this is when I got it- I have notified that person) and havent had intercourse since
