How To Confirm Success Of Surgery To Terminate Ectopic Pregnancy?

A few weeks ago I was awakened to pain in my lower abdominal. I went to the emergency room and was told I was pregnant. Then I was told it was an eptopic pregnancy in my ovary. I had to have emergency surgery. After, I went back to the doctor a week later and my body was still saying I was pregnant. My hCG levels were going up. Is there anyway that I could still be pregnant with another baby because Im starting to feel exactly the same before I found out that I was pregnant.
