How To Control Blood Sugar Levels?

dear doctor good evening,,, my blood sugar goes more than 300 when i eat at hotel and at home 200.... recently i had a chicken curry with oil rice and my sugar went 420 (all after food) meter reading after 1.30 hours.... please advise how to control and what is the result.. once it is 420 does it affect kidnely
