How To Cure A Hard Red Lump Under The Skin Of Wrist?

hi my 4 yr old son has just started complaining of a sore wrist. he was just about aslepp when he started saying it was sore. i have examined his wrist it has a large hard red lump under his skin with bruising in the centre of the lump unsure if its pierced or not but it is not bleeding.
