How To Cure Burning Sticky Patch On Left Arm ?

I have woken up this morning with a burning sticky cold patch on my left arm. It feels like a burn but it is not. It is about 5cm x 5cm patch. It is not very red but is sticky, clammy and cold to touch but is burning like a chemical or heat burn. I was moving logs by hand the evening before. Could it be a spider or a serious ant bite? Has been burning consistently for about the last 12 hours I have been awake so far.
