How To Cure Cold ?

Hi all.. I'm a 20 year old guy. ... Whenever i stay in my room, i sneeze a lot or my nose start itching and i wil get a sore throught .. Every night, i wil be coughing to extreme. In the morning, my nose wil be blocked. This continued for a few days. But a few days back the condition worsened . I was suffering from cold and was wheezing. After getting cured, the whizzing got away.. Is this due to allergy or asthma? Kindly suggest a suitable remedy for above said problem.
