How To Cure Constant Headache?

For the past week i have had a constant headache, it starts from the moment i wake up making me feel hungover until i go to sleep, its a pain at the front of my head and it kind of feels like its pulsing.. im getting worried now after reading some websites and that it could be the start of something serious... ive put off going to my gp as i feel that they will just tell me to take paracetamol and thats that.. but paracetamol does not work i have been taking them all week and they have no effect.. helppp
