How To Cure Ear Ache In Kids ?

My daughter who is 12years old is suffering from a really bad ear ache and headache. The doctors have give her medicine but its isnt soing any good. She is gettin worse by the minute and shouting about it thats it really hurts. What should I do about it and what could it possibly be?
