How To Cure Molluscum Contagiosumin Toddlers?

Hello Doc, I'm Maria and I have a 1 year 6 month old daughter who has molluscum contagiosum on her neck region and her dermatologist had advised capsules in vaseline mix as topical treatment which after a 20 day followup, he recommened for MCE. I want to take a second opinion as I'm worried about the scars that would be left behind. Please help.
