How To Cure Numbness On Face And Neck After Smoking Resin?

I ve smoked marijuana for about 17 years now and I smoke the resin when I run out and never had any problems until recently. I smoked resin for 9 days and now my neck and face feel numb after a few days of not using. Some of this resin was probably a few years old and it was a last resort. After reading online about resin being actually tar and is a byproduct of marijuana, has really freaked me out and I feel like I may have poisoned myself. Oh and my neck feels swollen. The swollen has gone down though and the numbness doesn t feel as bad at times. Is resin really tar? And will these symptoms go away soon?
