How To Cure Persistent Throbbing Pain In Right Ear?

I have been having nearly continuous throbbing in my right ear for the last 3 days. It isn t really uncomfortable, sounds more like air being released in time with my heart beat. In the beginning it was something I heard more than felt but now it s actually beginning to have sensation to it. It stops when I put pressure on my ear. Any ideas?
