How To Cure Protruding Labia?

I am extremely depressed and self conscience with my protruding labia.It has always been noticable but just this last year it has got even longer causing me pain during sex as it gets dragged inside me and is very uncomfortable for me in my clothes.My son 8 yr old son said to me a couple of years ago "mummy why do you have a willy" as you can imagine it has stuck in my head.My partner says he doesn't mind but it has put a strain on our sex life and i am not the person i used to be.I have even tried cutting the skin off i am that desperate to remove it,please help,
