How To Cure Rashes On Skin?

My son has a pervasive skin rash/infection? He is on his 3rd round of antibiotics, I was told that is he does not improve within in two days he needs to go to hospital. Last night hsi rash starting weeping, in fact so much that during the night he had to ge up and change and his pjs were wet. Does this mean it is getting better or worse?
