How To Cure Red Blotches On Either Side Of Armpits Which Causes Itchiness?

Hi I have red blotvhes and either side of my armpits (not in the middle) and very itchy - I had this many years ago and got a cream from the docs and it cleared within a few days - in the meantime I have been trying Lanacne but it is not helping - it has returned again and going to go to chemist today to get a cream - I cant remember the name but it definately worked - any idea. thxs ps I am a 51 year old lady.
