How To Cure Severe Itching In Rectum And Vagina?

I been having severe rectum and outside vaginal itching to where my skin is cracked. I seen my dr and they said I have jock itch. I took the meds they prescribed. It went away or a little over a week and came back again today what can I do to help it, its unbearable.
