How To Cure Severe Joint Pain After Toe Nail Removal?

I had the toenail on my big toe removed a week ago today. All has been well up till last night. It started hurting extremely bad in the first joint of my toe. Now today it hurts all the way back to the joint where it meets the foot. Some swelling no drainage.
