How To Cure Sharp Pain In Upper Right Side Of The Abdomen?

hi doctor, i am an 18 year old female who has noticed that about 2-3 weeks ago since it has happened, that at first it was little sharp pains on my upper right hand side of abdomen i guess, then it moved to right side near belly button, now it is only when i push in on my lower right hand side of abdomen towards middle. i cant really explain it. i also last week just got over my period. could this be an inflammed ovary? is it serious?
