How To Cure Swallowing Problem?

I have been having swallowing problems now for over six months, i have had an endoscopy which showed chronic gastritis, i am currently taking omeprazole 20mg twice a day with no effect on my symptoms, it is very difficult for me to swallow food and eat properly and dont know whats wrong?
