How To Delay Periods Without Any Side Effects?

i am trying to delay my period using norethisterone utovlan. but I am afraid of taking the tablets because last time I took something to delay the period (5 years ago) I think I had severe diarrohea because of it. I told my doctor about this and he said it was because of the food not because of the tablets. Yesterday I was checking the leaflet and saw that one of the side effects may be diarrohea.
I am going on a long trip and so do not want to have diarrohea but need to delay my period which is due to start on about 20 June. Please advise
