How To Drain Out Water From The Ear?

I had my ears cleaned out today. Everything sounds muffeled in my left ear when I talk. I asked the nurse and she said there was water in my ear and it would eventually go away. How do I get it out? Could it be that they did not get all the wax out. Please help. This is driving my insane.
